Down Under Fancy Dress Hire is a successful, long established costume hire and accessories business in Lara, Victoria - who were looking for a website to enhance their existing marketing material. The site showcases the variety of costumes available, and emphasises the store location - to encourage website visitors to come and visit the bricks and mortar premises.
Site visual design was based on existing graphics, the proprietor's existing colour scheme, and the main banner is actually an enhanced photo of existing store signage.
The site content management process as simple and easy as possible.
A number of domain names were selected and registered, and all are redirected to the same main site:

Golden Rivers Theatre Group is based in Barham NSW and are a community based Theatre group servicing a huge area of Victoria and NSW.
The committee intend to work on a more sophisticated web presence, but had an immediate and urgent need to create a simple static site to publish their latest newsletter.
Lab4 was happy to oblige, and this temporary site was created, setup and hosted for GRTG as an urgent temporary measure, that we are calling "Phase 0". We are now very proud to announce the launch of the GRTG "Phase1" website - utilising automated image handling for easier self-management of content, and promoting a consistant layout - we're sure the GRTG committee will enjoy using their site, and we hope everyone enjoys visiting to see what shows are running or being planned in Barham!
W.M.Flynn Pty. Ltd. engaged Lab4 to assess and then revamp an existing website project that had been stagnant for sometime. The project brief included a reputation based web presence, that was very easy for staff to add content, and incudes a dynamic image gallery of current and recently completed building projects.
BLOC Music Theatre is a multi award-winning amateur theatre company now proudly in its 50th year of entertaining the Ballarat community. This project provide BLOC Music Theatre an enhanced website - user content management, events calendar, email newsletter subscription list management and archival list of productions - as well as a graphics refresh more aligned to the nature and "spirit" of the Theatre Company. Committee members now have ability to update their own content as often as required, and have an extendable platform for any future development.
We dont just make sites for others - we make our own as well. Although like most tradies, our own site is usally undergoing some form of renovation as we try new things out. We believe in the KISS principle - and try to "Keep It Simple", even when we have the temptation to spruce things up with all the fancy gadgets available. The "craft" of webdesign, is to produce a useful web site - using all the functionality required - without adding overhead of unrequired whizz bang gadgets and complicated layouts.
HSFORUM.INFO is a community website, providing a discussion forum platform for those with (and families of those with) the genetically inherited blood disorder Hereditary Spherocytosis. This a simple site layout - defined for simplified management and maintenance. There is also a focus on Search Engine Optimisation, so that those interested are able to find this site through internet search engines more easily.
